Just fill in a simple template.  For projects, tasks and teams.  Easier than project management.

Use Microsoft SharePoint To Manage Your Next Project

Author: SharePoint CZAR

Microsoft Share Point is a portal solution that is booming across Intranets all over the world.  In fact, I am now starting to have copious emails about how to implement Share-Point on the world wide web.

There are many functions that I refer to as "Out of the Shoot" items and if you are creative enough, you can use them to manage work without gaining any additional expenses.

For instance, Microsoft Share Point has a template for projects and even a template that will manage many projects.  Like a PMO which stands for Program or Project Management Office).  I call it my Virtual Program Office.  It is not built with Project Server, it comes "right out of the shoot".

What is a PMO?

No matter what you call it, a central office to manage projects across an organisation, or part of an organisation, is becoming a more common occurrence. I have seen they called Program Office, Program Management Office, Project Office, Project Management Office, Project Control Centre, Project and several other variations. People have their own interpretation for each but in the end, their role is to make projects more efficient.

Project Sites can allow you to:

1.  Track your project

2.  Track Issues & Risks

3.  Make Task Assignments

4.  Portfolio View of Projects

Best of all you can update your Microsoft Share Point website with NO SPECIAL SOFTWARE AND NO PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE.

If you want to see a FREE demo and training website to to:

SharePointCZAR.COM

We are the ONLY site that allows you to see live demos of sites and I don't mean screen shots or movies.

Our site is about Share Point and is built upon Share Point and you can click through it to see how the demos work and them build them at your company.
