New In Version 5

We have listened to feedback, and included many asked for features.

Access and licenses:

Now it is much easier to manage your account, add people to your tasks and actions, and to keep relevant people informed.

There are three types of people you can work with:

  1. A Contact cannot access the software and doesn’t take up a license, as they cannot login. They can, however, be added to tasks and Actions by a user, and be sent plans and actions by email.
  2. A Basic user has limited access to the functions in the software. They take up a Basic License. [A Contact can be made into a Basic user (provided a license is available) by upgrading them.]
  3. A Full user can access the full functionality. They take up a Full License.

In the Account Manager, Administrators can easily change user levels (full/basic/contact). Both full and basic users can be administrators.

Trials have unlimited user licenses: the person who signs up has a full license, and administrator rights.

Buy Now links make subscribing easy.

The subscription process includes options for full or basic licenses.

Only full users can use the mobile view

A Basic user [with permission] can upgrade themselves to a Full user in the mobile view

Access to the desktop version is available without logging out of the mobile view, and vice versa.

A welcome email is sent from Me2Team to a newly added user (including an upgraded Contact).

A Getting Started page shows the first time you login, and can be accessed later under the Help menu.

You can set your preference for the default page you see upon login.

Plans, Actions, and Emails

The Plan layout is based on our highly successful Action Plans download. Plans contain basic Task information in the one place, and are available to both Basic and Full users.

Plans can be downloaded, printed or emailed, and can include your own logo.

Adding people to the Task team for a Plan, or removing them is simple.

Contacts can be created, and added to Task Plans and Actions by any user, if they have permission to do so.

A team profile shows task team members' details, and if licenses are available, and you have permission to do so, you can upgrade contacts to users, or basic users to full users.

Administrators set permissions for adding and upgrading contacts.

Most of the plan can be operated with the keyboard.

Actions on the Plan page can have a specified display order, and can be reordered by dragging.

Adding to an Action team is easier, including the ability to create and add a new contact, or choose from existing users; they are automatically added to the Task Team, if not already there.

Action emails can be sent from more places, and now include an iCal attachment to add to your Calendar.

Action notes can be viewed by clicking on the icon.

ToDo List changes:

A new simple ToDo list is available to both basic and full users, featuring

One tick complete,
Simple filters, including actions I have assigned and group by task,
Editing of Action details,
Save and add,
Action emails,
Printing
...and more.

Full users also have an Advanced ToDo List, including custom filters, and where you can now generate PDF Reports.

Reports changes:

More places to print reports, and enhancements to font size to overcome some browser issues.

PDF reports are now available on the Reports and Advanced ToDo List. [Full users]

The Progress PDF Report is now downloadable. [Full users]

People view [Full users]

View the actions that you are doing with other users and contacts, or that they are doing which are in tasks you are in.

You can also see a user’s entire ToDo List if they have shared it with you, and there is a link to the Activity Chart.

You can also see a copy of the Actions on your own simple ToDo List.

Various filters, including actions I have assigned, and group by Task, make managing the work easy.

Edit those Actions that you have the right to do so, and send action emails or print the Action details.

The person’s profile also shows, and you can upgrade them if you have permission to do so, and licenses are available.

Other changes include:

Simplification of the buttons up the top, with highlighting so you know what page you're on

An expanded Tools menu to include advanced features for full users, plus some new functions such as My Account

Paste Sample Templates moved to the Templates menu [full users]
