There are a lot of critical management processes that can be significantly improved by using technology to automate all or parts of the process.  At TASKey and working with our clients, we have found that using software to automate and coordinate many enabling management processes saves time and effort, reduces stress, and achieves goals faster.

Management is about helping people to work together to achieve business goals.  The functions of management are: Goal Setting, Planning, Organising, Leading, Monitoring, Communicating and Coordinating.  There are many parts of management functions that require physical actions or decisions by people that are unsuited to automation.  However there are many enabling and coordination processes that are ideally suited to being automated.

TASKey has developed and validated a software package that automates and integrates these enabling and coordination processes.  For example, automating a simple plan-on-a-page and task break down process makes it easy to develop understandable and actionable plans fast.  People still develop the plans, but the automated process makes it easy for people to get plans out of their head and into an understandable and implementable form.

Other examples of automating processes that enable work to be done are:

·         Sorting out work (tasks and ToDo’s) that are relevant to each person,

·         Making planning templates and task trees easy to use, find, update and distribute,

·         Tracking meeting actions and other To Do’s

·         Creating personal To Do lists,

·         Updating progress and reports  based on what has actually been done,

·         Keeping relevant people informed, and

·         Progressively updating what has been done.

Often most of these processes are done by people to a varying degree in the course of their work, or when they remember, or not at all. These enabling processes are often thought of as behind the scenes administration that is a lesser priority than work that contributes directly to achieving the task goal.  Consequently their timing and relevance is overlooked.

Surveys and experience suggest enabling processes on average take in the order of 20% of a person’s time at work (1 day per week).  Consequently automating many of these enabling processes and providing easy access to relevant task and team information could cut this time in half.  Think about the return on investment that an extra half a day per week per person will provide.

Automating and integrating many enabling management processes significantly improves efficiency, reduces stress, and delivers critical decision making information at the time and place it is needed.  TASKey Me2Team software automates critical enabling management processes, so you reach goals faster and achieve more with less:  less training on processes, less time, less effort, and less stress.
