Australian Industry Minister, Ian Macfarlane, today announced Federal government innovation funding for a Woden company to market a unique software programme which brings multiple users together online.
TASKey will receive a $336,095 Commercial Ready grant for the software, which allows people to work securely together on complex activities, over the web, regardless of their location.
Mr Macfarlane said the novelty of the person-to-person technology is its ability to coordinate work across separate enterprises and to connect external individuals, such as consultants.
"It will provide web-based team collaboration by securely transferring critical data, reporting, and feedback in near real time so managers can effectively coordinate the tasks and teams involved," Mr Macfarlane said.
"Areas within the Australian Department of Defence have already installed TASKey TEAM and the product’s potential market includes other national and international public and private sector activities, as well as humanitarian aid and reconstruction projects."
